Being intrigued by Jules Verne’s idea that enough time can bring two objects together... even two ships at sea Without Wind Or Tide to propel them, is the inspiration behind this composition. I enjoyed creating the incessant staccato movement of the strings and the minimalist nature of the piece simulating the passage of time.
