COVID-19: Anti-vaccine protesters clash with police in Munich

Anti-vaccine protesters clashed with police in Munich on Wednesday, after the country’s top ethics council narrowly approved a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for adults over age 18. The demonstration comes as Europe deals with a surge in COVID-19 cases driven by the Omicron variant. Police estimate approximately 5,000 people showed up at the protest. Eleven people were arrested, they said.
