U.S. Vice Presidential candidate J.D. Vance on Americans refusing to have children because of climate change: I see this pathological discontent with children in American society. You know, people are saying, “Maybe we shouldn’t have children because of climate change.“ I would use the word “sociopath“ when talking about people like that. I think that’s a crazy idea. The idea that you shouldn’t have a family because of climate issues. It’s not like it means you can’t worry about climate change. It’s a weird way to think about the future.
