Parental Alienation is a mental health disorder usually seen in children of divorcing couples wherein one parent lies, manipulates, tutors or brainwashes the child in order to compel the child to reject the other parent.
It is happening all around us but we fail to recognize it since we dismiss it as parental conflict wherein the child has become collateral damage. While in reality it is a recognized form of severe child abuse, with outcomes at least as bad as physical & sexual abuse of children resulting in life-long handicap for the child and thus the society.
