No title - paperwork reads - Off for Christmas leave. And everyone wishes the Arethusa boys a happy time with the old folks at home. M/S of the boys lined up on the deck with their bags, the captain comes down the line and inspects them, he touches their faces. Another officer hands them a piece of paper. M/S of the boys in the boat as it sails towards the shore. M/S as they leave the ship and get on the boat. M/S of them rowing in the boat and waving at the camera. M/S of them on the Arethusa, they all wave their bits of paper whilst giving three cheers, various shots of this. There is a brief shot as they go down the steps to leave the ship.
