This 50 minute documentary profiles Cheremosh’s Artistic Director, Mykola Kanevets and his influence on Cheremosh and Ukrainian dance since coming to Canada in 1991. Blending interviews, behind the scene footage and in-studio rehearsals of “Edmonton Hopak“, Kanevets’ tribute dance to his chosen home, this film gives audiences an insider’s view of the man behind the excellence that is Cheremosh.
