The IDF has released footage showing its troops along the Syrian border. Foreign Minister Gideon Saar described the army’s presence as a “temporary measure“ to ensure security in the north. Israeli Prime Minister’s advisor Dmitry Hendelman confirmed that the IDF is extending its security zone in the Syrian Golan Heights, following Netanyahu’s declaration that the 1974 disengagement agreement with Syria is no longer valid, as Syrian forces have left their positions.
