Nissan Hyper Punk Is An Unusual SUV Concept For Influencers It will make its physical debut at the Japan Mobility Show and will also make its way to Fortnite. Nissan will have a strong presence at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show in Tokyo, where it plans to showcase a plethora of equally crazy concepts. The fourth vehicle introduced so far takes the form of an ultra-angular compact crossover with 23-inch wheels and more curves than we can count. The numerous polygonal shapes make it look like an origami-style SUV, with the headlights and taillights neatly integrated into the body surface. The interior is so futuristic that it completely eliminates traditional switchgear. In fact, there aren’t any old-school knobs or buttons, as all controls seem limited to a few touch buttons on the sharp steering “wheel“. Origami-inspired elements surround the driver, who sits in what Nissan calls a “mobile creative studio.“ This is because Hyper Punk is apparently geared towards influencers and content creators. To this end, Nissan has installed in-car cameras that capture the vehicle’s surroundings, which are then transformed into magna-style views using artificial intelligence. The converted images are then displayed on three front panel-mounted screens, where the center-mounted vertical screen is surrounded by a pair of horizontal screens. The AI serves a second purpose, as it works with biosensors mounted in headrests to automatically detect the driver’s mood and change ambient lighting and music to boost morale. The lack of any technical specifications isn’t much of a surprise, as this eccentric concept has zero chance of making it into production. It will make its physical debut at the Japan Mobility Show on October 25, where the electric crossover will also be available in Fortnite. Meanwhile, it’s already on display on a 3D billboard in Tokyo’s Shinjuku district, along with the previously announced Hyper Urban, Hyper Adventure and Hyper Tourer concepts. Source:
