Here we have a 1967 Mercury Cougar for sale. This will make you a great muscle car to cruise as it has had a very nice restoration done and awesome stance. Don’t miss your chance to cruise back in time with this Classic Muscle Car. The body on it is in great condition and we can see that all of the lines flow beautifully on it. This ’67 is showcased in the Black paint that was redone in base coat clear coat and accented by the gold stripe down the side. The paint has been kept polished to a beautiful finish and is complimented by the Black Vinyl Top that was replaced at the time of the restoration. This Mercury has the added on hood scoop and up front we can see that the grill and hidden headlights are in great shape. The front bumper has a brilliant shine along with the rear bumper and out back the taillights are in excellent condition. All the trim and stainless on this Cougar is very nice along with glass, seals, and weather stripping. To finish off the look it’s sitting on the 14” Cragar Wheels with BF Goodrich White Letter Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this ’67. On the inside it’s done in the classic black that features bucket seats and console that houses the automatic shifter. New carpet and seal plates were installed at the time of the restoration. Looking at the panels we can see they are all very nice and that it features the standard crank windows that go up and down with ease. The headliner and visors are all very nice in this Cougar. Looking at the dash we can see that the pad is in good condition and the factory gauges are nice as well. It does have the added tach, temp, and oil pressure gauges. Inside the trunk is all solid and it’s detailed out with the trunk mat.
Finally, we will look at the driveline of this Ford. Under the hood we can see that the inner fenders and firewall are very nice. It’s powered by the 289 V8 small block. The engine is detailed out in the Ford Blue and is set up with the edelbrock performer intake and 4 barrel carb. It’s been dressed out in the chrome valve covers and air cleaner. This Cougar is set up with the Power Steering along with having standard drum brakes on all four corners. The 289 is mated to the C4 Automatic Transmission and the 8” Ford Rear End. For exhaust it has headers with dual pipes and mufflers that exit out the back. Underneath this car is very solid and in great condition. The floor pans and frame show that it has been very well cared for over the years. On the highway it runs out and drives great. The transmission shifts out smooth and it’s a great cruiser.
