France extends detention of Telegram CEO

French authorities continue to detain Russian tech tycoon Pavel Durov, following his arrest at a Paris airport. The Telegram CEO is allegedly accused of not handing-over users’ private information on the social media platform. Because of that, Mr. Durov is reportedly being investigated for complicity in drug trafficking, fraud, and crimes against children. (Yea, as if he’s responsible for every creep online) Telegram has published a statement, slamming the case against its founder.
