Lebanon TV Talk Show Deteriorates into Brawl Discussing Possible Sanctions on Lebanese Politicians

A Lebanese Talk Show has deteriorated into an exchange of blows between former Environment Minister and MP Wiam Wahhab and journalist Simon Abou Fadel. During the July 20 show on MTV (Lebanon), wahhab compared the U.S. sanctions to his shoe. To this Abou Fadel answered that Wahhab’s shoe is his own problem, but it has nothing to do with reality. This led to an exchange of screams, until Wahhab threw a glass of water at Abou Fadel, and the two came into blows. It should be noted that sanctions by the U.S. Department of the Treasury were imposed on Wahhab in 2007.
