TF2 - Badwater Now Has GOOD WATER

This is a motion tracking VFX video I made using Blender , SynthEyes, Lawena, and Davinci Resolve. I recorded game play footage from TF2, and added the water and pretty lighting on top. The original game play footage is projected on to the 3D environment in Blender. The payload cart, bullets, rockets, and sticky bombs were all remade in blender. The viewmodels and HUD are green screened on top of the Blender output. All watery sound effects were added in by hand. This took 60 hours of work, 10 hours of simulation baking, and 26 hours of rendering. The song at the end is “Rocket Jump Waltz“.
