Kobe Bryant Being Asked to RETURN His Oscar Over Sexual Assault Allegations

If you’re currently living under a rock, Kobe Bryant won an Oscar this past Sunday in the Best Animated short category for a film he worked on with director Glen Keane based on a letter he wrote when he announced his retirement called “Dear Basketball.” Many people were happy to see him win the award and others, not so much. In fact 17,000 people signed an online petition to revoke Kobe’s Oscar because he was accused of sexual assault back in 2003. The petition’s goal was to reach 18,000 signatures and they’re definitely almost there.
