Diminished Opening of a Bileaflet Mechanical Aortic Valve and Subsequent Restoration

In video 1, cardiac computed tomographic angiography shows a hypodense mass on the leaflets that was suggestive of thrombus, although a vegetation could not be excluded. In video 2, computed tomographic angiography suggests spontaneous resolution of the thrombus when the patient was admitted for planned repeat aortic-valve replacement twelve weeks later.
