Acrylic Painting Tutorial - How to Paint Realistic Water
It’s been a very very long time since I’ve done a real painting tutorial so I wanted to try a more long form and chatty style video to talk you through all of my little painting thoughts in my little painting brain. That way I can try and get you guys some more of the meanings behind why I paint the way I do. This way too, a show a lot more of my water painting progress for you to see and follow along with! This tutorial focuses heavily on blending with acrylics, which can be a tricky thing. Have patience and take your time with your blending by adding subtle color changes as you move from one color to the next.
In this painting I used only 5 colors, cyan blue, ultramarine blue, quinacridone red, medium yellow azo, and titanium white. If you don’t have these exact colors, feel free to use any red, blue, yellow, and white.
As always the real time footage is on patreon for all of my lovely patrons!
