Constable Henry Poole and his horse Thomas leaving stable and starting off on a journey. Mr Poole on horseback starts his daily journey. He stops at Beachyhead / Beachy Head to warn two children not to sit on the edge of cliff. Several shots of cliffs at Beachyhead. Boys get up and move away. Mr Poole gets on his horse and rides off. Mr Poole is seen rounding up stray cattle, and saving the life of a ewe who had turned upside down. Shepherd dipping sheep, pan to policeman on horseback. Two meet and shepherd gives the policeman a note. He puts it in his pocket, gets back on horse and leaves. Mr Poole recovering exhausted pigeon from the grass.
