The BEBOP + ALTERED + BLUES Improv concept. What the f*** is that?

In this video I am very excited about sharing an improvisational concept with you that I call BAB (BEBOP ALTERED BLUES) For years I studied and immersed myself in these 3 musical Genres/Concepts (however you want to label them!) - For Bebop I studied and listened to Charlie Parker, Sonny Stitt, Clifford Brown and a zillion others! - Players that inspired me to go deeper in to altered scale sounds were Mike Brecker, John scofield and Freddie Hubbard (to name a few) -And for Blues I loved listening and transcribing players like Stanley Turrentine, Wes Montgomery, and Johnny Hodges. However I always thought of these different styles and ideas as separate entities. It never occurred to me to mix the 3 sounds together consciously, that is not until a few months ago when I was developing Module 8 of the FOUNDATIONAL SOUL SCALE IMPROVISATIONAL course.
