Serbia puts army on high alert as Kosovo Serbs clash with police

Tensions between Serbia and neighbouring Kosovo are running high. Belgrade stationed its forces near the border and will remain on its highest state of alert until further notice. This is in response to violence on Friday between police in northern Kosovo and ethnic Serbs, who are angry over the election of ethnic Albanian mayors.
