This Delta 88 is powered by the 425 CID V8 that was standard on the Delta 88 for 1967 and optional on lower models of the big Olds. 1967 was the first year you were no longer able to choose a 4-speed transmission as it was a low production option in previous years. Mild body changes appeared in 1967 including a new headlight treatment that placed the blinkers between the twin headlights, a first since 1959. New options for 1967 included front disc brakes and an 8-track player that really helped the Oldsmobile become a big player in full size convertibles. This particular Oldsmobile is painted in the original Pewter color over black vinyl interior with power windows, power brakes, power steering and a power top. The car has had the entire drivetrain rebuilt at a GM dealer just 12,000 miles ago. In the last 2 years the Delta 88 benefited from all new brakes and wheel cylinders.
