Nikola Jokic Just EXPOSED The NBA Media

Jokic just exposed the NBA media’s secrets. ✅ Check out G2A: and use code DIVERSITY15 for Buy 1 Get 1 15% off #nba Despite being boring, despite not being a top 5 player, despite stat padding, Jokic kept quiet and had a plan. He’s a champion and just exposed the NBA media for their horrible bias, but unless we stand up and force these supposed NBA analysts to actually watch the games, the NBA is doomed and Jokic’s championship means nothing. I didn’t make this video to just celebrate Jokic and the Nuggets. Congratulations by the way. No, this is an urgent PSA that I’ve been making for years that could save the NBA and maybe now can get through: celebrate more players than just LeBron, have people on shows who actually watch the games, and take a page out of the NFL’s book and to prove it, I got the receipts of just what the media’s doing that’s hurting the league. Starting with who the media’s not so secret agenda on who they choose to talk about. The NBA has been a player centric league, building up players since the 80s with Bird and Magic and using their popularity to interest viewer. And so when LeBron gets eliminated and teases retirement, the narrative shifts from a time 2x MVP Nikola Jokic averaging a 30 point triple double, making Anthony Davis look like a rotation player on his way to the finals to look at what LeBron did at 38 years old, scoring 40 in maybe his last game ever. Mike Malone, Nuggets coach was even mad when the Nuggets won 1-0. It was even to the point that Kendrick Perkins who you saw in the intro, saying that we need to market Jokic better. And even then, rather than getting the basketball world excited about Jokic, we get, Jokic is boring, we get ohh Jokic doesn’t have a post game to which I’ll let JJ Reddick take over. Nikola Jokic as won MVP twice and not once was he even in top 10 in popularity. And just 2 weeks ago, he’s not even worthy of a supermax? And it wasn’t just this year, no it’s been going on for 3 years. Remember when Nick Wright was saying Chris Paul deserved MVP over Jokic in 2021. This narrative came 2 months before the season ended. Jokic was so far ahead of the pack that they had to manufacture an MVP candidate And instead of going to any of the other top performers, they went to Chris Paul, not even the top scorer on his own team Devin Booker. Kendrick Perkin’s argument for Chris Paul was that the last time the Suns were the #1 seed, someone on that team won MVP. All for the sake of views. As we’ve heard show hosts say, Jokic isn’t good for ratings. They don’t want to talk about him any more than they have to. And as a result, the casual viewer doesn’t know who Jokic is. Heck this video might not do well. And the cycle continues. We’ve heard analysts say that basketball purists might love Jokic for all the amazing things he does on the court and that a casual viewer who’s drawn to athleticism, dunks, handles, just won’t get it. Well then why not help them get there? So break down Jokic’s passing, break down how he reads the game, his unorthodox touch. We have people like Thinking Basketball helping people understand. I hope that I’m helping more people appreciate greatness, not just media agendas because when LeBron, then Steph actually retire, the NBA doesn’t even have one of the best players in the world marketed to take the torch.
