Tehran Sari Train. One of the most stunning mountain railways of the world. This stretch is part of the Transiranian Railway, which was the first railway line in Iran which connected the Persian Gulf with the Caspian Sea. Note the arid landscape of the southern side of the mountains and the increasingly green vegetation on the northern side of the mountains.
