The feeling is a bit more familiar than I would like to admit, so it was really cathartic being able to write a song about this topic. Love sucks. A lot. I do want to give a huge shoutout to ryu, not only for tuning this, but basically being the main reason this song exists. They really wanted to create a song with me in the style of their favorite artist, Loreen, and this was the result!!! I really feel like I was able to capture that early 2010’s emotional EDM pop vibe really well. I will admit, it’s very intimidating following up Self Proclaimed Angel, as it shot me from 1k subs all the way to 9k in less than two months (which btw holy shit thank you so much????????)
