El Morya is Chief of the Darjeeling Council of the Great White Brotherhood, Chohan of the first ray and hierarch of the etheric Temple of Good Will over Darjeeling, India. He is the founder of The Summit Lighthouse and the guru and teacher of the messengers Mark L. Prophet and Elizabeth Clare Prophet, and while still in embodiment helped with founding the Theosophical Society. He represents the godly attributes of courage, certainty, power, forthrightness, self-reliance, dependability, faith and initiative.
