I made friends with a wild squirrel!???

This little squirrel followed me out of the woods and has hung out with me every day since then! #shorts She is quite young, roughly 12 weeks old, which is right around the age where she should be leaving the nest. Even at this age, I wonder if the reason she was so eager for human interaction was because something happened to her mom and siblings. It’s also possible that she’s simply a super chill squirrel. I live in a pretty remote location, so she isn’t a released pet or a park squirrel. I should point out that she’s not captive. She chooses to stick around, and I hope she continues to do so.
