Audi A6 4.2 V8 Intake Manifold Disassembly, Cleaning and Reseal | DIY Vacuum Leak Repair

eManual Repair Manuals for Any Vehicle - In today’s video I am taking apart the intake manifold on the 2007 Audi A6 4.2 that I picked up for cheap after I did the carbon cleaning on the intake valves. The intake manifold had a leak somewhere and was very dirty, so I went ahead and took it apart not knowing how much of a PITA it was going to be! I couldn’t find any other videos tackling this job, probably for good reason, so I threw this video together. After the carbon cleaning and intake reseal/cleaning I added an oil catch can reduce how much blow-by goes onto the valves and intake, that will be in the next video where I show you guys how I made that. It made a HUGE difference and caught a lot of interesting fluid. As always, I’ll leave all the helpful tools and parts needed linked below!
