Sirocco is back!

After two years “off the grid” our Spokesbird for Conservation Sirocco the kākāpō has come out of hiding! DOC rangers Jake Osborne and Sara Larcombe captured this footage when they located him during a search on Sirocco’s island home deep in the Fiordland wilderness. He spent the past two years completely off the radar due to a failed transmitter.
