FUNKE NATIVES - URBAN CONTEMPORARY JEEP MUSIC

Urban Contemporary Jeep Music (1990) was an underground hit that gave the Funke Natives a favorable buzz throughout the New York Tri-State area in the early 90’s. The group consisted of John Ice Boogie of Manhattan’s Lower East Side and DJ SugarBear of Harlem, USA. When recording Urban, the Natives invited a local LES MC by the name of Maze One to guest star and spit a few bars giving props to the many All-Star rappers blowing up at that time.
