Quick, Sketch Rendered Site Plan Tutorial

In this video I walk you through a fast, sketchy, painterly technique for creating a basic rendered site plan. I use this for quickly representing schematic site layouts for clients. The workflow is: 1) Export linework from CAD 2) Overlay linework on your titleblock of choice 3) Create the sketchy base layer (I used colored fur for mine) 4) Invert linework (as necessary) 5) Select areas to receive color “washes“ 6) Apply color adjustment layers and fine tune opacity for desired effect. 7) Layer on text, ar
