Do guitarists need a Reamp box or not? - Radial ProRMP VS Just a cable

Amazon UK - Amazon US - We keep seeing newer guitar recording enthusiasts saying “what’s the point of a reamp box? I’ll just use a cable from my interface“. This is what happens.
