Released in 1987, “The Border“ was the third single from the album “Go On...“ The combination of acoustic piano, guitar, drums, fretless bass and lead singer Richard Page’s soaring solo vocal marked a return to “roots“ of sorts for a band that had been one of the pioneers of the densely packed, synth-heavy 80’s sound.
