Dr. Pop is a Dutch popgroup from Velp, the Netherlands, that scored a minor hit with ’World At War’. The group consisted of Jan De Wit (vocals, guitar), Ans Dijkstra (vocals), Bert Meijer (bass guitar), Ton van tent (guitar) and Chris Meurs (drums). ’World at war’ was produced by Jaap Eggermont of Golden Earring fame who became a top producer after he left the Earring. This single turned out to be ’s only hit and was on their debut album. ’World at war’. The single reached to no 21 in the Dutch Top 40.
