The incredible process behind the Saint-Louis 85-light chandelier for La Comédie-Française

In the middle of the newly restored Mounet-Sully room of La Comédie-Française - an Empire-style space originally conceived by renowned architect Pierre Fontaine as a dining room for Prince Napoleon - is hanging an incredible Saint-Louis chandelier. 6200 pieces of crystal and more than 300 hours of work were necessary to create this 85-light chandelier measuring nearly 4 meters high and weighing 550 kilograms.
