Mick Hannah hucks the Thredbo fireroad gap at the Cannonball MTB Festival

If you’ve ridden the Thredbo downhill track before you’ve undoubtedly cruised down the Eagles Way fireroad,probably doing your best to keep your wheels on the ground. Not so Mick Hannah. The top two waterbars on this fireroad are about 50 feet apart, the runout is loose and rutted. No one has attempted to double them up since Nathan Rennie and Andrew Mills back in (approx) 2001.
