— 📝These are ADVANCED single arm shoulder strength and stability exercises. . ✅Closed chain single arm exercise is key for shoulder, scapular trunk strength. 💪🏼 . 📚The theme here is scapular protraction and upward rotation. The serratus anterior’s job is to keep the scapula in a stable and controlled position on the ribcage. When we reach our arms out in a pressing motion the serratus helps to both move and stabilize the scapula. . ⚠️️If you want to try some of these for the first time I recommend scrolling back down my page and experimenting with some of my other shoulder posts first.
