Escape from New York 1981 Origin Story

The origin of the movie “Escape from New York“ can be traced back to the early 1970s when director John Carpenter and producer Debra Hill were working on a project called “Eyes of Laura Mars.“ While working on that film, they began discussing the idea of making a futuristic action film set in a post-apocalyptic world.
