Rishi Sunak has revealed that he recently talked to Boris Johnson about the “risk” that Sir Keir Starmer, the Labour leader, poses to the country. In an exclusive interview with The Daily T podcast, the Prime Minister said the pair were “literally in touch the other day”, but declined to say whether Mr Johnson would campaign for him. He also said he was a Thatcherite, warned that the current level of immigration was “unsustainable” and defended his new national service policy.
