The band’s eponymous debut album was released on July 29, 2008. At this time the band also included members Dominic Cifarelli (bass guitar, backing vocals), Franky Perez (guitar, vocals) and Danny Shamoun (keyboards, piano, percussion). On April 16th, 2018, Daron Malakian announced that a lead single from the second album will be released on April 23rd. The band has been re-branded as “Daron Malakian and Scars on Broadway”. On April 23, 2018, Daron Malakian released the official video of the song “Lives“, also releasing the release date of the band’s second album, titled Dictator, on July 20, 2018.
