Nidvinter (Norway) — Winter Wars — 2023 EP

The first EP of this Norwegian act. This is the lengthier output so far, yet portraying its usual ravenous black metal that sometimes merges with synths, but more often than not it is kept very intense, fast and with extreme violence. Even if it does not start exactly like that, by the second half of the second track, you will find yourself on a one way route to hell. A similar sonic aesthetic that you find on acts such as Seigneur Voland or Kristallnacht to a lesser extent, at least on the synthless sections or tracks as “Winter Wars”.
