FolkustiX feat. Turbo B. & Petar Yanev - Colour of love

FolkustiX - World hits reborn with Bulgarian folklore intruments. After a long break he took from performing, Adrian Rachev-Romy is coming back full force, supported by the bagpipe master Petar Yanev and the world known Turbo B. (SNAP!) “It was a very spontaneous idea that came to me while we were wondering what’s the next thing to do. Turbo B was in Bulgaria at that time and he heard the demo we had and he really liked the idea of the project. Each one of the members is a musician (solo or is in a band) so we decided to create this project. We already have a repertoire for over an hour”, told us Romy. “I’ve always liked the Bulgarian embroidery and alternative history. I love Bulgaria and I believe that everyone should know and hear about our folklore music and culture”, shared Adrian. For me personally, Petar Yanev is the bagpiper of the Rhodopi mountains. He’s the epitome of the Kaba Bagpipe and it wasn’t an accident, that Valya Balkanska choose him “for life”. It’s an honour for us to have him in our first song – “Colour of Love” of our project “Folkustix”. The song is a cover version of one of the world’s famous’ SNAP songs. They sold millions back in the 90’s. Petar Yanev is currently the director of ensemble “Rhodopa”. The project joined also the singer Plamena, known as one of the finalists in the second season of “Music Idol”.
