Most race cars have short life spans, one in particular lasted for decades. Built in late 1998, the truck named “Freak“ was raced until 2018 with great success. With three wins at Daytona in five years, Freak was Bobby Hamilton Racing’s fastest truck. But after Hamilton’s passing and the team’s closure, the truck was sold and continued to race for other teams. By the end of it’s life, Freak was older than some of the drivers it raced against.
