Bad Idea Theater Pool Toy Carnage at Nanty Falls Fun Whitewater Action

This is the annual running of the pool toys at the Nantahala Falls on the Nantahala River by kids of all ages. This event is also know as Bad Idea Theater. Safety is set and volunteers take turns throwing throw ropes at swimmers and even those still on or in pool floats. No one was injured but a few pool toys were. This is just one of the events during the Carolina Canoe Club’s Week of Rivers held every year on the week of the Fourth of July.
