Napoleon 3 era Lefaucheux revolver Restoration

#gunrestoration #restoration #restauration Restoration of a 1860 ( Napoleon III era ) Lefaucheux revolver. We have found this gun while magnet fishing in South of France. Here is the video of its discovery : Judging by its condition, it has been in the water for decades and we decided to not to contact the police. The gun was damaged but we decided to preserve it by removing the rust, making it functionnal and protecting the metal for a display. This video is only a restoration of an historical object and in no way about the apology of weapons.
