Russia annouces ’full control’ of Mariupol steel plant

For more: The Russian Defense Ministry said on Friday that it has taken “full control“ of the Azovstal steel plant in the southern Ukrainian city of Mariupol. Convoys of buses carrying Ukrainian fighters left the steel plant the same day. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that all civilians trapped at the plant have been evacuated, adding that he believes the evacuation of all Ukrainian defenders will be completed in the near future.
