REVIEW: “Advaitic Songs“ is the fifth studio album by the American band OM, released on 2012 by Drag City. Their last album until today, Advaitic Songs reaffirms the new way that the band started to walk with their last two albums (God Is Good [2009] and Pilgrimage [2008]), refining their sound with differents compositions and the using of other instruments, and reaffirming theirseves as gods again, after their slight setback with “God Is Good”. The album was produced and engined (again) by Steve Albini, always a sign of well-done work. The narration of OM continues in this album as in the previous albums, making a 180 degree turning to human’s religions, and traslating these idea and sensation to the public, but being totally confrontated to the idea that religions provide.
