On Thursday and Friday, intense precipitation of 40 to 80 mm is expected on the northern slopes of the Alps and adjacent areas, as well as in northwestern Switzerland. This rain on top of previous rainfall means that there is a very high risk of flooding in Lake Biel, Lake Thun and Lake Lucerne (hazard level 5).
