LIVE: Anti-government protests take place in Minsk

Protesters resume unsanctioned rallies against the re-election of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, in Minsk on Sunday, September 20. The demonstrators demand Lukashenko’s resignation and the release of arrested protesters and political prisoners. Protests against the president and his government began after the August 9 presidential election that saw Lukashenko re-elected for a sixth term.
