Roseanne and Tom: Behind the Scenes (1994) - Full Movie

One-time “Roseanne“ guest-stars Patrika Darbo and Stephen Lee slip into the roles of Roseanne Barr and Tom Arnold for a 1994 docudrama chronicling their tumultuous relationship. TV movie biographies were all the rage that year, and this is the better of the two that were rushed into production following the implosion of the Arnold marriage (Fox’s “Unauthorized Biography“ was riddled with errors and verged on unwatchable -- though it inexplicably got a VHS release and further exposure on Lifetime). In a truly bizarre move which was documented by The Washington Post and other media outlets, Roseanne announced plans to host the original NBC broadcast to provide personal commentary, but she changed her mind and backed out ten days before the film’s Halloween night premiere.
