Eve - Dairy Farmer (1923)

“Pure milk“ is the latest cry - so Eve has started a dairy farm on very hygienic lines.“ Very short L/S of farm buildings. M/S of woman cowherd standing beside a cow shed (again a very short shot). “Cleanliness is the first essential“, say these dairy-maids.“ M/S of women washing the tails of cows. Woman in the foreground swishes the cow’s tail around to remove excess water. M/S of three female farm workers standing in a doorway. They wash their hands in a basin of water. M/S of the three women walking into the cowshed with milk pails and milking stools. M/S of the three women milking the cows. C/U of woman milking a cow. Was probably an item in Eve’s Film Review issue number 122. This item may have originally be stored in another can - discovered in 1999. No markings on leader as to where was originally stored. Have created new cans for these “orphan items“ - EP312 and EP313. Note: this item in poor condition - perforation damage and bad shrinkage. Very fragile. FILM ID:1102.1
