1st RECORDING OF: Mary Lou - Young Jessie (1955)

A 1959 hit for Ronnie Hawkins , this earlier version was recorded by 18 year-old Obediah Donnell Jessie, who later spent some time with The Flairs, briefly with The Coasters, and a jazz performer with the Obie Jessie Combo.
