First Test Flight of the Revolutionary Bellwether Volar EVTOL

First Test Flight of the Revolutionary Bellwether Volar EVTOL Bellwether Industries, a London-based company, today released video of the first untethered flight of their “volar“ eVTOL (January 12th, 2022). The aircraft has a sleek, aerodynamic design that’s more akin to a supercar than other eVTOLs now under development, according to the business, which describes it as “a new category of flying vehicle.“ The first volar prototype, code-named “antelope,“ from the UK company hasn’t yet been given a detailed description, but we do know that is intended for private usage and has a small profile for quick intracity travel. We also know that underneath the aircraft’s futuristic body lies the motor technology that drives the vertical takeoff and landing. and based on the renderings, it appears that the eVTOL only has room for one passenger.
